Cocky HubDub has just expired the contract. InTrade and BetFair did not. InTrade will expire the Democratic candidate contract when the Democratic party declares their nominee at their convention. BetFair does not state anything. Maybe they’-re too shy to tell.

I have updated the post. Thanks.
I read (i think,……) that a candidate in the past some time ago was killed before he could take up the nomination. Any ideas who that might have been? He was a near certainty to get it without a mishap.

I think its the right idea not to settle it yet btw. Politics, as is the case with many things, is a funny old game, and seemingly impossible things do happen.
I think Obama is capable of taking on McCain. People are tired of the Republicans messing up the real estate and the war in Iraq.
